1967-1973 Mustang T5 Transmission Crossmember Bar without Parking Break Bracket. This Transmission Crossmember bar makes it easy to install a T5 5-speed Transmission into your Classic 1967-1973 Mustang. This is a much needed component when installing a T5 5-Speed overdrive transmission conversion kit. Our 1967-1973 Mustang T5 Transmission Crossmember Bar Without Parking Break Bracket is constructed from high grade .090 wall tubular steel and fixture TIG welded for maximum strength, also doubles as a sub-frame stiffener for better handling and performance driving. The U-mounting bracket holes on our Crossmember Bar are not elongated and made to factory specs that may require to be elongated as these cars are over 50 yrs old and frame rails tend to tweak over time. CPC recommends using a 1983-1993 T5 World Class BorgWarner Transmission or the new TREMEC T5 manual transmission when upgrading to this 5-speed conversion kit.          

Note: 1994-up T5 transmissions input shafts are too long and will require the input shaft to be changed out with the earlier model transmissions mentioned above.
