Restore the factory-correct appearance and function of your 1967 Mustang, Shelby, or Cougar with this premium two-piece breakaway inside rear view mirror bracket, Made in USA by California Pony Cars.
The original C7ZZ-17690-A used a factory two-piece breakaway design but could loosen with age, allowing the mirror to lose adjustment or rattle. Ford later introduced the improved C7ZZ-17690-C version. California Pony Cars reproduces the upgraded factory-style design while maintaining the correct appearance and functional two-piece breakaway construction.
Unlike lower-cost one-piece reproductions that may imitate the appearance of the original bracket without reproducing its functional breakaway construction, the California Pony Cars bracket incorporates the true two-piece breakaway design.
The bracket features show-quality triple chrome plating, an improved casting, and a plastic insulator bushing designed to help maintain mirror adjustment and reduce looseness and rattling. Complete mounting hardware is included for both the bracket base and rear view mirror.
