Designed for 1967-1969 Ford Mustang and Mercury Cougar models equipped with automatic transmissions, this assembly is manufactured to factory dimensions to provide the correct leverage ratio required for vacuum-assisted power brake systems.
Unlike manual brake pedal arms, this power brake pedal mounts in the factory upper pivot location on the under-dash pedal support, providing the correct mechanical advantage for power brake operation. Using the proper pedal geometry helps prevent braking issues that can occur when incorrect or mismatched pedal assemblies have been installed over the years.
Originally used on 1967-1969 Ford Mustang and Mercury Cougar models equipped with factory power brakes and automatic transmissions.

Application Notes
- 1969 Models: Direct factory-correct replacement featuring the proper pin configuration for the 1969 Bendix power brake booster with the teardrop-style pushrod eyelet.
- 1967-1968 Models: Bolts directly into the original pedal support but must be used with a 1969-style Bendix (crimped outer shell) vacuum booster.
- Important: Do not use this pedal with early 1967-1968 Midland-Ross power brake boosters identified by the large band clamp around the booster housing. This pedal design is not compatible with those boosters and may allow the booster pushrod to disengage if the pedal is forced upward.
- Verify your existing pedal support and brake booster before ordering, as many classic Mustangs and Cougars have been modified with mixed-year brake components.
