TRA-658-712 | Custom 50oz 157-Tooth Flexplate for 1965–1968 Mustang – Late Model 5.0L to Early C4 Transmission
The TRA-658-712 is a custom-engineered flexplate designed specifically for adapting a 1982-1995 Ford 5.0L / 302 engine to an early small-bellhousing C4 automatic transmission in 1965–1968 Ford Mustangs and other classic Ford applications. Featuring the correct 157-tooth ring gear, 50oz imbalance, and proper flexplate thickness, it eliminates the alignment and engagement issues commonly encountered when using many off-the-shelf flexplates in 5.0L-to-C4 conversions.
Unlike many flexplates on the market for this application, the TRA-658-712 is manufactured to the correct thickness for proper starter and torque converter alignment, helping prevent fitment issues that can occur during engine swap installations.
