The California Pony Cars Clutch Equalizer Bar Pivot Retro-Fit Bracket Kit (TRA-658-538) is the original Made-in-USA solution for installing late-model Ford engines into classic Mustangs and Fords while retaining the factory-style clutch linkage.

When swapping in a late-model 302/5.0L (1979–1995) or post-1981 5.0L & 5.8L Windsor engine, the block does not have a factory provision for the clutch equalizer (Z-bar) pivot stud. This retro-fit bracket kit solves that problem with a direct bolt-on design that saves time and ensures proper clutch geometry.

Z-Bar Bracket

Excellent product. It is great to use in a Ford Galaxie with a Z-Bar to adapt a 302/351W without the Z-Bar boss casted into the block. Works great in my 63 Galaxie with an 88 302 (331) and original trans.
