Summer time is right around the corner and the rules in California are convertible mustangs are a must. We can say that from experience. Our beloved 1966 California Pony Car Convertible show car has been that car for us for many years now; now its time we share it with some one else. Its true, our 1966 shop car is now on the market.

This 1966 convertible Mustang was subject to a high end Top to Bottom restoration,runs and drives great, no expense was spared on this build and the details prove it. Panel fitment and paint are incredible and comes with all factory correct components. This timeless classic holds all of its beauty appeal with slight non-noticeable comfort modification.
Great show car and reliable driver, this car has a fresh 5 year old restoration and has been stored indoors since and prior to the restoration, it has less than 400 miles since being restored,retains all the original looks but has slight upgraded to enjoy a comfortable and reliable drive. Slight upgrades have been made to the 289 V8 rebuilt motor and also comes with a late model AOD (automatic overdrive) transmission kit that appear stock (from CPC). Handles very nice and is really great on the highway.
Other upgraded stock appearance options included are: power steering,power top,new radio,17"x8" 1 peace aluminum wheels,dynamat insulation,dual exhaust,Hi Po exhaust manifolds,Holley carb,all new white pony interior, new black carpet,new top and pump,new weatherstrip and much more.
Every part was re-plated,re-polished,replaced,rebuilt or new. Convertible top frame was taken apart repainted and bushings replaced. Floors have dynamat insulation. Underside/belly was sandblasted and painted black, suspension was slightly lowered,rebuilt motor, new late model Ford AOD transmission, new dual GT exhaust that comes out through rear valance, new 17"x8" 1 peace aluminum styled steel wheels with new BF Goodrich 245/45/17 tires in the rear and 215/45/17 up front,new paint, all new pony interior with new rubber/weatherstrip,new windshield all glass is in clean unmarked condition, documented restoration photos also available.
This beautiful reliable Mustang convertible has been in California for most of its life and has no rust issues whats so ever. You could not built or restore another one at this price,also makes for a great investment.
